How does TrackLab's hybrid tracking algorithm work?

TrackLab combines a high-precision astronomical solar tracking algorithm with a closed-loop tilt sensor (inclinometer). This ensures maximum alignment accuracy even on overcast days, utilizing real-time sensor telemetry for continuous slope and positioning correction.

What power options are available for the Tracker Controller Unit (TCU)?

The TCU can be powered directly via a dedicated PV module (12–55Vdc) or through string power inline (200–1500Vdc). Each unit contains a built-in 24V Lithium-Ion backup battery (3.3Ah / 6.6Ah) with intelligent constant current, constant voltage (CC/CV) charging.

How does the system handle high wind speeds and storm conditions?

The Network Control Unit (NCU) continuously monitors real-time wind speed and wind direction from integrated weather stations. Optionally integrated with South African Weather Services, it automatically commands all rows to stow in a safe horizontal position during high-wind alerts.
